Glö vs Snö – What’s the Difference?

Although both products can be applied through a foam lance, they perform very different jobs.

Stjärnagloss Snö is a pH-neutral snow foam used during the pre-wash cleaning stage to help loosen dirt before contact washing.

Stjärnagloss Glö is a protective hydrophobic treatment used after the vehicle has been cleaned.

For a complete wash, you can therefore use Snö near the beginning of the process and Glö towards the end.

How to Use Stjärnagloss Glö

First, thoroughly wash and rinse the vehicle so the surface is clean.

Dilute Glö according to the manufacturer’s directions and apply using a suitable foam lance.

Cover the exterior evenly before rinsing thoroughly with clean water to reveal the hydrophobic effect.

Do not allow the product to dry on the surface, and avoid application to hot panels or in strong direct sunlight.

Once rinsed, dry the vehicle using a quality microfibre drying towel such as the Stjärnagloss Törstig.
