How to use GYEON Q²M Tire Express

For the best finish, always apply Tire Express to a properly cleaned tyre. Applying dressing over old products, road grime or tyre browning can result in an uneven finish and reduce durability.

1. Clean the tyre thoroughly
Wash the tyre sidewall using a suitable tyre cleaner and a stiff tyre brush. Agitate thoroughly to remove dirt, road film, old dressing and contamination.

2. Rinse well
Pressure rinse or hose the tyre thoroughly, making sure all cleaner and loosened contamination has been removed.

3. Allow the tyre to dry
For best results, apply Tire Express to a clean and dry tyre sidewall. Removing excess water helps the product spread evenly.

4. Apply a small amount
Dispense a small amount of GYEON Q²M Tire Express onto a dedicated tyre dressing applicator. You don’t need to saturate the applicator.

5. Work around the sidewall
Spread the product evenly across the entire tyre sidewall. Work it into lettering, textured areas and around the edge of the tyre for consistent coverage.

6. Allow it to settle
Give the dressing time to level and dry. Avoid driving immediately after applying a heavy layer.

7. Remove any excess if required
For a particularly clean satin appearance, lightly wipe the sidewall with a suitable cloth after the product has settled. This also helps minimise excess product being thrown onto the bodywork.

Top detailing tip

Less is more. A thin, even application normally gives a cleaner finish than applying too much product. If you’re dressing very dry or neglected tyres, apply one light coat first and assess the finish before adding another.

For even better results, thoroughly deep-clean older tyres before the first application. Keep cleaning until old dressing and built-up contamination have been removed, then allow the tyre to dry before applying Tire Express.
