💦 What Is a Waterless Car Wash?

A waterless car wash allows you to clean light surface contamination without rinsing the vehicle with water.

Unlike traditional washing methods that require a hose, buckets and shampoo, a waterless cleaning product is applied directly to suitable surfaces and removed using clean microfibre cloths.

Koch-Chemie Wash & Finish is formulated to help loosen and remove light contamination while improving the appearance of the surface.

It’s particularly useful for maintaining a vehicle that is already reasonably clean.

Important: Waterless washing is not suitable for heavily soiled vehicles, thick mud, abrasive road grit or heavy winter salt contamination. These should be removed using a thorough pre-wash and conventional wash to minimise the risk of scratching.

✨ Clean Paintwork with a Beautiful Finish

Wash & Finish is designed to do more than simply remove light dirt.

After cleaning, the vehicle is left looking refreshed, with an attractive finish that enhances the appearance of the paintwork.

It’s a useful product for keeping your vehicle looking presentable between more thorough washes.

Ideal for:

• Light maintenance cleaning
• Dust and fingerprints
• Freshening up exterior paintwork
• Car show preparation
• Cleaning vehicles with limited access to water
• Maintaining a recently washed vehicle
• Quick exterior touch-ups

🚗 Perfect for Car Enthusiasts & Everyday Drivers

Not every vehicle needs a complete wash every time it becomes slightly dusty.

Koch-Chemie Wash & Finish provides a practical option for light maintenance cleaning, particularly when you want to refresh your car without setting up a complete washing process.

Keep a bottle alongside your premium microfibre towels for those occasions when your vehicle needs a quick, careful clean.

🧴 How to Use Koch-Chemie Wash & Finish

Step 1 – Inspect the Vehicle

Check the paintwork for heavy dirt, grit, mud or road salt. If present, carry out a conventional pre-wash and contact wash instead.

Step 2 – Prepare Your Microfibre Cloths

Use several clean, soft, high-quality microfibre towels. Avoid reusing a dirty section of cloth.

Step 3 – Apply the Product

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for preparing and applying Wash & Finish. Use a suitable spray bottle if required.

Step 4 – Clean One Section at a Time

Work gently on small areas, lifting light contamination with minimal pressure.

Step 5 – Turn the Cloth Frequently

Use a fresh section of microfibre regularly to reduce the risk of dragging dirt across the paintwork.

Step 6 – Final Buff

Use a separate clean microfibre cloth to remove remaining product and reveal the finished appearance.

Important Application Advice:

• Use only on lightly soiled surfaces.
• Never rub dry dirt or grit into paintwork.
• Avoid direct sunlight and hot panels.
• Do not allow product to dry on the surface.
• Follow the manufacturer’s current dilution and application instructions.
• Test on an inconspicuous area before use.

❄️ Waterless Washing During Winter

Waterless washing can be useful for light maintenance cleaning during colder weather.

However, winter road grime often contains abrasive grit and salt.

If your vehicle has been driven on heavily salted roads, always thoroughly rinse and wash it using an appropriate conventional cleaning process before attempting any finishing work.

For light dust and fingerprints on an otherwise clean vehicle, Wash & Finish can be a convenient maintenance product throughout the year.
