Stjärnagloss Tjära Tar & Glue Remover 500ml

Stjärnagloss Tjära Tar & Glue Remover – 500ml

Remove stubborn tar, glue and adhesive contamination with Stjärnagloss Tjära Tar & Glue Remover, a powerful exterior decontamination product formulated with natural orange oil.

Tjära is designed to dissolve stubborn bonded contamination that normal car shampoo simply can’t remove, making it ideal for use during a deeper vehicle decontamination or before polishing, waxing or applying paint protection.

Powerful Tar & Adhesive Removal

Road tar can quickly build up around lower doors, sills, bumpers and behind the wheels.

Rather than aggressively rubbing these deposits, Tjära works chemically to soften and dissolve the contamination so it can be removed more safely.

It can also tackle wheel-weight adhesive and sticker residue, making it a useful product to have in any detailing kit.

Why Choose Stjärnagloss Tjära?

• Powerful car tar remover
• Helps dissolve stubborn road tar
• Removes glue and adhesive residue
• Useful for wheel-weight adhesive
• Contains natural orange oil
• Ideal during vehicle decontamination
• Easy spray-on application
• Suitable for detailing enthusiasts and professional detailers
• 500ml spray bottle

How to Use

Spray Tjära directly onto the affected tar spot and allow the product time to work.

Once the contamination has softened, gently remove it using a soft microfibre cloth.

Alternatively, spray Tjära directly onto a cloth and gently work it over the affected area.

Stjärnagloss recommends allowing it to dwell before buffing, rather than aggressively rubbing the contamination.

Ideal Before Polishing & Protection

Tjära is particularly useful as part of a full paint decontamination process.

Start with your normal pre-wash and contact wash before using Tjära on remaining tar deposits. Follow with an iron fallout remover and mechanical decontamination where required before polishing or applying your chosen wax, sealant or ceramic protection.

Complete Your Stjärnagloss Decontamination Routine

Pair Tjära with Först for traffic film and general grime, Hjul for iron contamination and Glir Clay Lubricant with a suitable clay bar for remaining bonded contamination.

Stjärnagloss itself combines these products in its current Decon Detailing Kit.
